I have been really bad about posting lately. So here we go on what's new with us. Ryan had been going out every Saturday walking for his Uncle Andy, and it paid off! Andy Hafen will be sworn in as Henderson's new mayor on June 16th!!! Woo hoo!! My doctors appointments have been normal and fine. Kinsey was a little sick for a little while, and so was I, but we are both better now. She is still taking antibiotics for an eye infection though. For those whose kids have been around her, the doctor said that 24 hours after starting meds she would be fine to be around kids. Otherwise she would not have gone to nursery on Sunday. She's doing great otherwise. We got a bed from her Grandma and Grandpa Hafen, and she has Princess sheets and a comforter for it. Thank you Uncle Jordon and Kortni for bringing it over for us! Plus Aunt Natalie was kind enough to let Kinsey use their bed rail, so she is all set. She is now sleeping in a "big girl bed!" (Pictures to come later.) When we first put it together she didn't want to leave her room. Once she finally did she said, "Bye my bed. I love you." She's slept in it the last couple of nights, and she has done pretty well. She did wake up this morning around 5:30 and came to get me, but she fell back asleep fairly quickly. We're still working on the potty training, her bout with the flu kind of set her back a bit, but she's doing pretty well with that as well. It's just not going as fast as we hoped it would. She does want to wear her big girl panties though, so maybe we are getting a little closer. She's funny. Anytime I refer to her pull ups as diapers she says, "They're not diapers Mom! They're pull ups!" Because big girls wear pull ups and babies wear diapers. She doesn't like to be a baby. If she has any accidents though, her Daddy puts diapers on her.
Thank you to all that contributed to the big girl bed! This week we are looking forward to Austin's graduation and the baby shower, which has been moved to Natalie's house.
